Add In Keto Fats For Extra Creaminess

Super 4 Healthy Smoothie Bowl Recipes | Weight Loss Smoothies

While this is technically an optional step, doing this will really help to boost your healthy Keto fat intake as well as make your smoothie even more delicious.

Are bananas Keto?

Traditionally, smoothies have used bananas to create that smooth creamy texture without dairy products. But unfortunately, bananas are not Keto because they are too high in carbs for smoothies.

My favorite Keto smoothie ingredient.is Avocados!

But luckily, you can add in ripe avocados to create that creaminess without the extra carbs.

Avocados are full of monounsaturated fats as well as fiber to help bulk up your keto smoothie.

Your Tamper Your New Bbf

Ensure to use your tamper as often as necessary, IF you want to make a SUPER THICK SMOOTHIE BOWL.

Your tamper is your new best buddy! My arm usually starts hurting, from the time I am pushing down the fruits, and mass. Because if you only use the blender setting on your blender, like the Vitamix, then parts of it will get thinner and better mixed through. And you wont end up with the super thick, smoothie bowl. Tips for making the super thick bowl: Pulse setting: Do you have a Vitamix, or another blender, with a pulse button?

That button enables you to press it several times and pushes even chunkier pieces of fruits down to the bottom.

Without having to use the tamper. Use the pulse setting as often as possible.

How To Make A Red Smoothie Bowl

Thick delicious smoothie bowls are a lot easier than you think. You do not need special ingredients. And you do not even need a fancy expensive blender! I made my smoothie bowls in a cheap blender for YEARS. The key is to STOP ADDING LIQUID!!! Thick smoothie bowls really only need frozen fruit and maaaaybe a splash. Yes a SPLASH of milk. This is less than cup per like 3 cups of fruit.

How to make my red smoothie bowl in ANY blender:

First, add a splash of milk on the bottom of the blender to help get the blades going.

Next, add the frozen fruit . Add any powders too.

Turn the blender on low. Use your tamper if you have one to push the frozen ingredients down towards the blades. Or, turn the blender off and scrape down the sides a couple of times.

Continue blending until your smoothie is SMOOTH and creamy and no chunks remain.

Note: depending on the power of your blenders motor, you might have to turn off the blender and scrape the ingredients down towards the blade a few times. DO THIS and DON’T add more liquid or you’ll get a soupy, watery bowl that won’t be able to support any toppings.
