- 1 Cup Fresh or Frozen Strawberries
- 1 Banana: I use fresh but you could also use a frozen banana. Just be sure to omit the ice if you choose to use frozen.
- 1 Cup of Milk: Any type you have on hand will work whether that is whole milk, almond milk, etc.
- 1 Cup of Ice: You can add a little more or a little less depending on how you like your consistency.
What Milk To Use In Your Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Another question I have been asked is what type of milk I suggest.
Any milk you have will work.
You wont really notice a flavor difference, or much of one.
I used 2% milk as it is what I had on hand, but you can use whole milk, almond milk, soy milk, whatever basic milk you have on hand.
Dairy free or dairy it wont make much of a difference.
No need to run to the store, just use what you have!

- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup ice
- 1/4 cup whole milk
Ice is key to a thick smoothie and so is frozen fruit, i.e. bananas or strawberries, just keep them frozen for an extra thick drink! Either way, add 1 cup ice or frozen fruit to your blender.
After the ice, add the 6 ounces vanilla yogurt.
To that add 1/2 tablespoon honey.
