New Smoothie Cafe In Evansville Offers More Than You Think

EVANSVILLE, Ind. Tropical Smoothie Café has recently opened on North Green River Road, and many diners are surprised to find the restaurant offers far more than smoothies.

Our motto is Eat Better, Feel Better, owner Kush Patel said. We decided to open a Tropical Smoothie Café because there isnt one in Evansville, and its a good franchise that offers healthy food. We use real fresh fruit in the smoothies, not syrups or powders. The food contains grilled chicken, veggies, black beans. We dont use iceberg lettuce we use romaine, spinach or kale, and we dont deep fry anything. It was something that I align with and agree with.

Patels family has plenty of restaurant experience. Locally, Patels own the Carousel restaurant and Kushs cousin Richie Patel owns the Rooftop Food and Drinks downtown. Other extended family members own Tropical Smoothie Cafés in other cities, so he was familiar with the concept and felt it would fill a needed niche in Evansville.

How To Make A Keto Tropical Smoothie

This next step doesn’t really need much explaining, except I should mention that you will need a blender for this. I use a Ninja blender which happens to be my most-used, multi-purpose kitchen appliance.

To make this green smoothie:

  • Blend for 1-2 minutes to make sure it’s smooth.

    Tropical Smoothie Cafe Has Been Sending Kids To Camp For Over A Decade

    Too many companies out there making millions or even billions of dollars give too little back to their communities, even though those communities support them every day. Thankfully, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is sharing some of its success. The company has partnered with an organization called Camp Sunshine located in Casco, Maine that serves children with life-threatening illnesses. The non-profit operates a year-round campus for families as they navigate the difficulties of everyday life, while at the same time, providing a fun getaway for the kids where they can simply create some great memories.

    Tropical Smoothie Cafe teamed up with the camp in 2008 and since then, has contributed some 6,00 volunteer hours and helped 2,500 family members by raising more than $7.5 million for the organization.
