Green Smoothies That Will Even Appeal To Veggie Haters

Green smoothies are certainly popular among people who love health food or enjoy their vegetables. But, what about the rest of us? Certainly, the idea of drinking a lot of veggies doesnt exactly sound appealing, regardless of whatever health benefits those vegetables offer. So, why are green smoothies so popular?

There are the health benefits, of course.

But, the main thing is that green smoothies dont have to taste bad. In fact, some recipes manage to completely bury the flavor of the greens entirely so it doesnt even seem like you are drinking greens. Other recipes still let you taste the greens, but the end result is something very appealing.

Even if green smoothies dont sound particularly appealing, take the time to check out this roundup of recipes. They offer great combinations of flavors, and youre sure to find something in the list that takes your fancy.Oh and one quick thing.

I Absolutely Hate Smoothies

Edit: I have read all of y’all’s comments and I thank you guys! I’m gonna just stop the smoothies and eat the actual fruit! Thanks again

So I like the idea of smoothies. Drink it and it’s jam packed with protein and other nutrients. When I do drink a smoothie I generally won’t eat anything until my work day is over and I head home. For a snack I’ll eat two cheese sticks. I’m doing IF 16/8 so I generally try to eat my cheese stick around 11:30am then my smoothie. If I’m hungry later I eat my cheese stick. Then I go home. Unfortunately on days I’m starving, I’ll eat my cheese stick in the morning then drink my smoothie at 11:30am then if I’m hungry before I leave work I’ll eat another cheese stick. The thing is, I HATE the texture of smoothies and hate the taste of protein powder. And that’s all I taste when I make my smoothies. Does anyone have recommendations for something that can substitute my smoothies? Something that will give me all the nutrients. I’ve heard of drinking your oatmeal and maybe I’ll try that.. Idk
