Good food, solid in person service , although often get the wrong food on online orders, between small side orders and any substitutions for shakes or food.
Sadly no matter what tube of day and how many people are in staff it’s still a super long wait for one smoothie. The shortest time I’ve waited is 20 min but up to almost 30 minutes, totally in unacceptable. Even one time I got a smoothie missing an ingredient I asked for but charged for it. I didn’t even want to wait for a fix. I just took the hit. So now I make sure I have time to get a smoothie and speak clearly with expressive when saying the ingredients I want. Still a cool spot, just slow under undertrained staff.

Multiple times I have gotten a smoothie here that wasnt even remotely blended all the way. Chunks of ice so big it cant fit through the straw.

COVENTRY, RI Coventry’s Tropical Smoothie Cafe is set to open in doors in the coming week. The store, located near the Centre of New England shopping plaza, will have its grand opening celebration on March 1.
Doors will open at 8 a.m., and the first 50 customers will receive free smoothies for a year with a purchase of $5 or more.
The new location was announced in November and initially reported to be opening in December. It is the fourth location of the smoothie chain in Rhode Island, and the first in the southern half of the state. The others are in Providence, North Providence and Cranston.

Came here tonight and the service was awful. The boy who greeted us was nice but the girl who made our smoothies didn’t even tell us they were done. She placed them on a shelf without saying a word, they weren’t labeled, no name ! We sat there for 20 minutes not even knowing our smoothies were done. Not friendly either :/ not a great experience
