Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Watermelon Mojito Smoothie

Makes two 16 ounce servings

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 tablespoons of organic honey
  • 1/4 cup chilled alkaline or filtered water

Directions:

  • Slice the strawberries and watermelon and place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment, freeze overnight
  • Into a food processor or blender add the frozen strawberries slices and watermelon chunks, mint leaves, the juice of one lime, and organic honey.
  • Secure the lid and pulse until all of the ingredients are well combined.
  • Through the porthole of the food processor or blender little by little add the chilled alkaline or filtered water until you get the consistency you like.
  • Spoon into glasses and serve with a straw.

    Alkaline water or filtered water. I also added about a quarter cup of alkaline water to give it a smoother consistency, you can use tap water if you want, but filtered water is a much healthier addiction.

    Fresh mint leaves. Lime juice. There are many great benefits to using lime juice in your smoothies.

Ive been to a couple of cookouts since summer began and sure enough, watermelon was a part of each menu. Its definitely the star fruit for the summer. Its sweet, hydrating, and the perfect foundation for a cocktailor mocktail! Right in time for summer, Tropical Smoothie is offering a fresh summer menu including a Mocktail Smoothie lineup that features the perfectly blended Watermelon Mojito and Avocolada smoothies.

    If summer had to be described as a smoothie flavor, the Watermelon Mojito would be it. This smoothie is made with fresh watermelon, strawberries, lime, and mint. Definitely all of the fixings for a mojito without the alcohol. It was so refreshing with the perfect amount of sweetness!
