Review Of Hawa Smoothies
For the best-priced bubble tea in a big city, I usually head to the Chinatown. This place had good bubble tea at a reasonable price, though I saw a lot more people ordering smoothies. As others mentioned, it is cash only.

I went to the 8th and 23rd location. The smoothie was very yummy until I found a finger or toe nail in my smoothie! Gag!!
Great place for on the go! All sorts of smoothies , bubble tea & shakes available Services are pretty fast , though I didnt like my banana , strawberry smoothie, guess its great only
Hawa is my favorite smoothie shop in NYC, and I have been many times! They use very fresh ingredients, and the price is only $5 for a medium drink. They also serve juices, health shots, boba tea and acai bowls. My favorite smoothies are the Hawa Shake and the Avocado. You can choose from many fruit options and proteins, such as nut butters and protein powder. They also sell bananas, raisins and granola bars for less than the surrounding bodegas. Quick and reliable service. Note that it is cash only.

Hawa Smoothies and Bubble Tea has leased a 350 square foot space at 495 Amsterdam Avenue, located off the corner of 84th Street. Thanks to Upper West Sider for the tip.
The juice bar has a huge menu and pretty reasonable prices, with most juices and smoothies ranging in price from about $5 to $7 . As far as juice bars go, these are good prices.
There are only two other UWS juice bars Im aware of having such low prices.
One is this seasonal juice truck on the west side of 71st and Broadway :
And the other is Cool Fresh Juice Bar, located at 2661 Broadway.
Hawa has several other locations around NYC and a couple in Brooklyn. They also deliver, and the menu on Seamless shows 53 drink options.
Some popular menu items are their Berry Colada, Cold, Green Parsley.
According to a 2011 write-up by Grubstreet, Hawa Smoothies is owned by Michael Wang, who named the business after his native Hawaii.
Well provide an update once they announce an opening date.
