Tropical Smoothie Cafe North Charleston
Brought my family here for lunch today at 2 pm. Now please understand , I love this chain in Florida and eat there several times a week.Today they first made a smoothie so cold and thick I had to ask them to blend it…moreIt gave me brain freeze. I took it in the car and drank it a half hour later.Then my usual turkey sandwich was served with one slice of their delicious toasted whole grain bread and a second slice was a tiny heel piece toasted until burned. I asked for a new top slice of toast. Ten minutes later I got a turkey on a ciabatta roll. Never mind returning that one.Finally , the two sad bananas offered as a side dish were overripe and the only chips visible were jalepeno flavored. I wont mention issues with the bill…Lets just say I wont be coming back here soonMore
After searching the internet for a place where I could get a healthy snack, I stumbled upon the Tropical Smoothie Cafe. The online menu had super ingredients, was appealing and user-friendly. There was also a link to directions after the order was placed!This all…somewhat prepared me for what I thought would be a warm, friendly, healthy and, bubbly atmosphere. Sadly, this atmosphere was full of people who gave off the impression they’ve failed at most things in life. I’ll try again but I hope the staff has changed by then.More
