Mac and his team were phenomenal on our catering orders of 55 plus. They fulfilled the orders last minute and did it with a smile. They were very accommodating with setting up the orders, helped get the smoothies inside safely so we didnt have any causalities and the smoothies were a hit. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is not on every corner in Mississippi there were only three in the state. But with Brookhavens branch finally opening Friday, the local population now has the chance to see for themselves how smoothies and healthy food can go swimmingly together.

Brandy Walters, the new general manager for the Brookhaven franchise, was born and raised in Brookhaven. In fact, shes already a successful business person she runs the popular Galley Grub food truck on Highway 51 N.

Shes excited about bringing Tropical Smoothie Cafe to Brookhaven. Were opening at 7 a.m. Friday and itll be great to offer healthy food options to the public, she said. We plan to have 25 to 30 employees and these are great jobs for young folks.

Born on a beach in 1997, Tropical Smoothie Cafes corporate mantra includes relationships rule, think bigger to expand your horizons, be all in with everything you do and high five and celebrate every little thing. The company has 1,100 locations nationwide and four in Mississippi: two in Jackson, one in Olive Branch and the new one in Brookhaven.
