What Makes Evive So Unique
Their frozen smoothies come in a wheel, with 8 individual cubes. You can use half the cubes for a small portion, or use the entire wheel for a individual regular portion. All of their products are vegan, have no sugar added and are gluten-free.
You can pop the frozen cubes and your liquid of choice directly into a blender and whip up your smoothie, or you can pop the cubes into a mason jar with and let them sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes and simply add your liquid, screw on your lid and shake!
Im a huge fan of the latter option for two reasons, first, I honestly hate cleaning blenders and second, Ive always had trouble with eating right away in the morning with my digestive issues, and would often skip breakfast all together because of this because I wouldnt have time to go and make food until lunch time. With Evive, I can pop my cubes into a jar when I wake up and grab my morning coffee, go get dressed, start work for the day, and then when Im ready for some food its as simple as grabbing my Evive jar and giving it a good shake.

How I Make My Smoothie Bowls
For my smoothie bowls, I always go for Evive cubes because theyre so easy to use. Plus, I know that each Evive blend comes with a handful of healthy ingredients including fruit, veggies and plant-based protein. While they dont necessarily require a blender, I tend to use one when whipping up my smoothie bowls to achieve the perfect consistency.
An Easy And Healthy Meal Or Snack
Evive has the coolest packaging Ive ever seen. They come in pods of 8 cubes, you use 8 for a thinker smoothie or you can use 4 for a lighter smoothie.
Pop your cubes in a shaker, walk away for 15 minutes or so until its melted, shake it and youre done! So easy and no blender needed! Of course, you can also add these into your regular blender, add smoothie cubes, your favorite liquid, and blend.
These smoothie cubes are great for smoothie bowls, shakes, popsicles and more!
Do you know how many of these smoothies Ive prepared as Im getting ready? I make one almost daily, I come downstairs, pop in the Evive cubes, add my almond milk or water, go back up to get ready, and by the time I come back down my healthy superfood smoothie is waiting for me. I grab it and out the door, I go feeling great about my eating choices.

How Do The Smoothies Taste
There are 13 flavors to choose from and they’re all distinct from each other. I was pleasantly surprised by how different each flavor tasted, and my favorites were Sapphire and Viva mixed with water. The smoothies don’t just have a generic, fruity taste I could pick out specific fruits’ flavors.
The texture of each smoothie was mildly gritty, but it was easy to ignore. Plus, you aren’t blending the smoothies, so I wasn’t surprised by this textural element.
Besides the instruction to cover the cubes completely, there aren’t measurements given for how much liquid should be added. To see if you could adjust the thickness, I made two smoothies with the same amount of cubes, but one with half the amount of liquid. There was a slight difference, but overall, I found most Evive smoothies to be on the thin side. It felt more like a juice than a smoothie.
How Much Do The Smoothies Cost
Ive worked out some pricing on Evive and depending on where and how you buy they average out to about $3-$4 a smoothie wheel. Great right? Remember, you can get a smoothie from using half the wheel most times. You dont have to use the full wheel each time. The lunch wheels are more than enough for two people to eat, Ive never made a full wheel for myself for lunch.

So Are They Worth The Hype
Short answer: Yes.
Theyre super quick, insanely delicious and perfect for anyone who has a busy life.
I especially loved them because on days where I had more time and ate something else for breakfast or lunch when I found myself hungry in the middle of the afternoon and wanting a quick snack I would find myself opting to make a smoothie as opposed to reaching for whatever crap I could find in my house and binge-eating.
Overall, I found myself to have more energy, feel more alert and overall just sort of felt healthier while incorporating Evive into my regular routine. My skin was also glowing its seriously looked the best it ever has and I think it helped control my breakouts. Im also someone who suffers from chronic headaches and migraines, and I do think they helped a little bit with them as well.

How Do Evive Smoothie Cubes Work
Other than the health benefits, the main selling point of Evive smoothies is their convenience. Instead of portioning out smoothie ingredients and dirtying a blender, you can just pop a few Evive cubes in a liquid of your choice. Though you do have to wait for the frozen cubes to soften in the liquid , I found it required minimal stirring once the cubes melted. When I was in the rush, I made the smoothie in a reusable water bottle I shook it on my way out the door and it was soon fully blended.
Each Evive flavor comes with recommended liquid additions, like water, almond milk, or even lemonade. The serving sizes are a half-wheel and a full wheel . You store the smoothie wheels in the freezer and take them out when you’re ready no defrost time needed.
There’s a hitch when it comes to storage, though: the cubes need to be kept frozen. Once defrosted, the cubes are only fresh refrigerated for 24 hours. If you know you’ll be making a smoothie within a few hours, you can tuck a wheel in your bag, ideally kept cold.
