I love Prevention magazine, and this recipe is straight from their pages. It’s smooth, creamy, and if you like, you can pack in double the blueberries. What could be better than two servings of that cheerful super fruit?
1 cup of skim milk or soy milk6 ounces of low-fat or non-fat vanilla yogurt1 cup of fresh blueberries1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil1 cup of frozen blueberries or icePlace milk, yogurt, and the fresh blueberries into the blender with the ice or frozen blueberries, blend until mostly smooth for 1 minute or so, then add flaxseed oil.

A cup of watermelon gives you around 170 mg of potassium or around 4% of your daily 3500 mg to 4500 mg per day needs. According to the National Kidney Foundation, foods are classed as high potassium if they contain at least 200 mg of potassium per serving.
You can meet more of your potassium needs through watermelon smoothies by also including potassium rich ingredients such as banana, grapefruit, spinach, avocado, mango, papaya and orange.
