I tried shaking it but that didnt work to unbog the ice. I used one full ice cube and the rest crushed ice so I was surprised that it got bogged down so easily.     Despite lacking the power and prowess of a full-size machine, a Magic Bullet blender can still handle many blending tasks. You only need to learn the basics, such as how to properly load the container and control the blending power.

    Here are the six basic steps to consider when you use a Magic Bullet to make any meal or drink

    Step 1: Assemble the Accessories you Need

    This steps pretty straightforward as its just like you do with the ordinary blender or even food processor. But youll not be gathering all the dozen accessories that came with your Magic Bullet blender. Just the base unit, the blending cup you want to use, and the extractor blade will do.

    Step 2: Prepare Your Ingredients:

    After you have the tool ready, you can now prepare the ingredients for the recipe you want to make. That includes washing the raw fruits and vegetables, then chopping them into smaller sizes to avoid stressing up the motor. If its ice, you can crush the large blocks into small sizes or else use small ice cubes from a Mini Ice Cube Tray.

    Step 3: Load the Ingredients into the Blender Cup

    Its now time to feed your prepared ingredients to the blending cups. But unlike with the regular blender, youll want to arrange the ingredients inversely- with the toughest materials at the bottom and the softest on top.     How To Make A Good Smoothie

  • First, the single most important thing for smoothie success is this: the order that you put the ingredients into the blender matters. If you want a creamy, cold smoothie, youll need the softest ingredients to hit the blade first, and the coldest, hardest ingredients to hit it last. By stacking your ingredients in this way, the soft ingredients become evenly distributed throughout the liquid before the frozen ones drop in to thicken the mix and cool everything down. Doing it this way ensures that the frozen ingredients also have plenty of liquid to move around in, so you wont end up with big chunks of ice in the final product.In a standard blender, this means soft ingredients first, ice last. If youre using a blender with a blade that screws into the top, like the Magic Bullet, reverse the order and put the ice in first. Or, you can even blend up the soft ingredients first before adding the ice and frozen ingredients. From bottom to top : ice, frozen banana chunks, cocoa, peanut butter. Pour milk over top before blending.
  • Second, use frozen ingredients that are no larger than an ice cube. This just helps everything blend more evenly. That means breaking up clumps of frozen berries and cutting bananas into smallish pieces. I cut each banana into eight even pieces before freezingas a bonus if youre tracking your food intake, you can easily count out a half banana or however much you need from a larger bag.
