Soap And Glory Smoothie Star Body Butter Cream
Hey lovely people, yes I know I have another Soap and Glory product to tell you all about. Trust me though, you will want to know abou this body butter.
I have never really used body butter till this winter. My skin has never really needed it for me to look in to it. I also thought they would be really rich and greasy. This winter though, my skin really does need it so I decided to try this one from Soap and Glory.
First of all I need to tell you the Smoothie Star Lightly Whipped Buttercream not only sounds like a yummy dessert but it also smells like one too. It has in it 5 essential oils along with Vanilla, Coconut as well as pistachios and almonds. The sent last the rest of the day too which leaves you feeling very fresh for a very long time.
Like I said I expected the body butter to be heavy, greasy and too much on my skin. How wrong was I! The cream is rich which is what you want from a body butter but it is not greasy in the slightest. As soon as it is rubbed in to your skin, it is absorbed straight away. This is one of the reasons why I like it because I can put my clothes straight away which you cant do with many moisturisers never mind body butters.
It leaves your skin feeling silky smooth so you know it is doing its job properly and hydrating your skin. It is a light rich bodycream so you can always use more if you want too. I make sure I apply loads on the places that are extremely dry.

Just had to share one of my new favorite products by Soap & Glory today. Yall know Im obsessed with body scrubs since being preggo, and when I heard that one of my favorite body care brands was coming out with a new scrub, you bet your bottom dollar I had to scoop it up.

If youve never tried Soap & Glory bath and body products, they are decadent and delicious. This scrub contains an exfoliating blend of oats, sugar, and sea salt to smooth the skin 100% natural cupuacu scrub for moisture, radiance and elasticity shea butter, glycerin and sweet almond oil for moisturizing and honey and banana extracts for a delicious scent. Really with all of those delicious ingredients, what Im smelling is brown sugar for some reason. But trust me, Im not complaining! Its divine.
I love to use this before shaving in the shower and all over my growing belly. It will set you back $25 and is available at Sephora beginning in June 2014. I dont see it online, so you might have better luck in store!

The award-winning Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub is made with organic cupuaçu scrubs , oats, salt and sugar to exfoliate, and shea butter, glycerin and sweet almond oil to moisturize. Its also formulated with bananas , and almond & honey extracts, probably to add sweetness to the scent.
The texture is just the right balance of gooey and stiff, and its easy to work into the skin for a comfortable exfoliation. The scrubbing particles arent so harsh that they hurt or irritate, but theyre still heavy-duty enough to exfoliate and soften. The scrub, combined with a thick layer of the Smoothie Star Body Buttercream, has worked wonders on my gross flaky elbows.
The Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub is an excellent product, and its sweet maple scent makes it a must-have in my fall bathtime routine. Its as good as everyones favourite weekend meal!

Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Buttercream Review
The Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Buttercream is packed full of luxurious oils to soften and moisturise the skin, and its the perfect finishing touch to a pamper night. The scent is slightly fresher than the Breakfast Scrub fragrance, with strong notes of vanilla and hints of pistachio and almonds that give the body butter more depth than your typical cheap vanilla-scented products. Though the scent is strong, its quite sophisticated.
This is a thick body butter, but its not at all greasy. I often use it as a hand cream, and theres no need to wait around for it to absorb. It sinks right in and leaves the skin feeling noticeably softer within seconds. Im quite lazy when it comes to moisturising anything but my face, but this body butter is the exception. Not only does it smell absolutely divine, but its also a dream to use.
