¾ cup soy milk
2 tablespoons sugar-free peanut butter syrup
2 tablespoons peanut butter powder

  • Place chocolate drink mix, soy milk, ice, peanut butter syrup, and peanut butter powder in a blender cup and blend until smooth.

Its filled with peanut butter, Carnation Breakfast Essentials milk chocolate powder, and bananas. Its super easy to make. You can make it the night before for an easy grab and go breakfast. Or you can make it in the morning. It only takes about 5 minutes to whip it together.

I was doing so well on my journey to a healthy lifestyle, working out daily, conscience about the food I was eating, actually eating breakfast. I mean I was on a mission. We recently spent the weekend in Wisconsin Dells and this lady had to get into a bathing suit and it had been since well, August! Yikes!

Weeks leading up to the trip were great. The trip was much-needed and quality family time was had by all. I felt great about myself and then we got home.

Healthy lifestyle be damned. I think I consumed all the food I had missed eating for weeks, in about 3 days time.

Now Im back to feeling like garbage. But its not too late. Nope, its February 1st and Im hopping back on that resolution train and Im riding it out!

    Using the Vanilla flavor of Nestlé Carnation Breakfast Essentials Powder as a base, I opted to use frozen mangos to change things up a bit.

    Out of curiosity, we tried the same thing with the Rich Chocolate flavor and it is also quite tasty!

    Making A Tropical Inspired Breakfast Smoothie requires the use of a good blender and a few minutes of your time.

    Start by mixing together your Nestlé Carnation Breakfast Essentials Powder with unsweetened almond milk or water.

    Using water alone is fine, but the bit of almond milk helps to thicken up the smoothie.

    My personal preference is for almond milk which has vanilla added already. If you have plain almond milk, then just add about a splash of vanilla to it at this time.

    Oat milk is my second preference. Ive made it from scratch when I have run out in the house and need some quickly.

    What is key is using unsweetened to keep the total sugar count low enough for the breakfast to remain healthy.

    Once the powder is fully incorporated, add the frozen mangoes.

    Start on a low speed to get started and then crank it on up to a high setting.

    If you want a smoothie that borders on a soft-serve consistency, just add a few ice cubes while blending. Doing this will dilute the mango taste.

    I liked adding not quite a drop of orange essential oil to heighten the tropical flavor.

    It is no secret that I am addicted to smoothies! And if I can incorporate chocolate and still make it nutritious, then it is even better!     Going back to work from maternity leave has definitely been an adjustment for me. While I miss my kiddos so much, its nice to be back into the swing of things and normal life again after months of craziness of a new baby. But going back to work and trying to find new breakfast options that are healthy has been difficult. I tend to prefer baked goods in the morning, but baked goods dont necessary like me and my post-baby body. So I thought why not try to find some new fun ways to get a good breakfast in me, that tastes good, and that is a bit outside the box!? And I came up with this tasty Peach Breakfast Smoothie recipe for me and my family!

    With it finally being warm out, I figured nothing tastes better than fresh sweet peaches, so I headed off to Kroger and picked up some essentials for my smoothie!

    For this smoothie youll need:

    Fresh peaches

    Carnation Breakfast Essentials Vanilla powder

    Vanilla

    Almond Milk in Vanilla or Plain Flavor

    How To:

    I started by chopping up my peaches and putting them into my blender. I used one large peach, but you could easily add two depending on how many you have on hand or how much youre making. From there, I added one packet of Carnation Breakfast Essentials Vanilla powder.

    Finally I added about one cup of almond milk and one to one and a half cups of ice, then I blended it all together.
