TO MAKE: Soak 1 cup of raw cashews in water for 2 hours. Drain water and place cashews in a food processor. Add in 3/4 cup water, 1 teaspoon garlic, 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon dill weed, 1 1/2 teaspoons parsley, 1 teaspoon chives, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder . Blend until creamy. Season with sea salt and black pepper to bring out the taste. Store in fridge. *NOTE* You can season this any way you like, you can make it sweet with cinnamon and stevia or savory. If you dont like ranch then just add your favorite seasonings. Its that creamy base youre going for!

What Should I Eat For My Dinner To Help Me Lose Weight

Now that we know that replacing your breakfast and your lunch with a green smoothie is the best thing for your health and for weight loss, we now need to think about what were going to eat for dinner.

Every calorie adds to your bodys fuel reserves, so make yours count.

For dinner, the aim should be to fill your tummy enough for you to avoid snacking before you sleep.

This means you need to eat low-calorie yet protein-rich foods such as beans, lentils, veggies, and whole grains.

The way you prepare them is also as important.

It is much better for your health and your waistline to avoid cooking with oil. But that doesnt mean you should avoid fat, only that the fat should come from healthy, whole, plant-based sources like beans and lentils.

Veggies can be sautéed and stir-fried in stock, while a cup of grains can be boiled like rice.

So you can save time by preparing your entire days worth of smoothies in the morning.

Just make sure you store them in airtight containers.

But heres something worth mentioning you will need a full-sized blender for all the ingredients of a recipe to fill in the blenders pitcher.

Think Blendtec or Vitamix, these two brands of blenders hold 72 ounces of liquid easily.

The 10-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse is DONE and my final results are heeeere!! Ive said it before but I am still in blissful shock and amazement at my journey with this program! Ill cut to the chase and share the outline of my last five days and weight loss results.

Day Six

  • Down another pound!
  • Day Six Smoothie Peach Berry Spinach. At this point I decided to stop adding the vegan protein powder to these smoothies altogether. I personally dont like the taste and it made the smoothies texture a bit unappetizing to me.
  • Feeling very energized but sore from the previous days workout.
  • Meals included two apples, raw cashews, two boiled eggs, a can of tuna fish, carrots and celery sticks.
  • Drank 82 ounces of water, two cups of green tea and a cup of Yogi Detox Tea.
  • Day Two Workout 21 Day Fix Day Upper Body Fix. So happy that there werent any lower body exercises included because my legs and glute muscles were SO SORE! Still took it easy by using lighter weights .

Day Seven

  • Day Eight Smoothie Spinach Kale Berry.
  • Meals included an apple, raw walnuts, two boiled eggs, carrots and a SquareBar.
  • Drank 64 ounces of water, one cup of green tea and a cup of Yogi Detox Tea.
  • Day Five Workout 21 Day Fix Cardio Fix. This was a straight cardio working with no weights. Thank goodness for those exercise modifications!! The muscle soreness is gone.

A break would be several weeks . However, two green smoothies plus a high-protein meal per day is very healthy and can be done for life.

    If youve been off the 10-day cleanse for a few weeks and now want to redo the full cleanse or do it for longer than 2 weeks, you have to deliberately add more protein into your diet and be sure to rotate or use different greens each week.

    Also, once you get rid of toxins and waste during your first 10-day cleanse, you will most likely lose less the next time you do the full cleanse. Normal weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week after the cleanse. By doing the full cleanse longer than 14 days, you run the risk of slowing your metabolism which will just make it harder to lose weight in the long run. Just trying to do the full cleanse over and over back to back is not the answer Its a jumpstart to weight loss After the 10-day cleanse, 1-2 pounds per week is normal and healthy.     Fruits are also mostly dietary fiber which, alongside water, keep you full for longer, and also enhance digestion.

    You also need fruits because they enhance excretion of the post-digestive wastes plus toxins.

    It is, therefore, the safer option when you feel sluggish.

    The greens are everything!

    Chlorophyll, the compound responsible for the green in green vegetables goes beyond adding color to your smoothie.

    Chlorophyll cleanses the blood, as well as the body.

    And it does a great job of balancing the system.

    Besides chlorophyll, you need the green leafy veggies because of their richness in fiber, minerals, and vitamins.

    As I said, the smoothie cleanse detoxifies the body.

    But, what is detoxification?

    Detoxification is the bodily process that involves removal of toxins.

    The body doesnt just flush out wastes and toxins, but, it breaks down the toxins, taking what it can use whole disposing of and eliminates what isnt necessary.

    So, how does the natural detoxification process work?

    Your liver, colon and the kidneys are the most critical detoxification organs.

    They help get rid of all the bad in your system.

    Even if you are on one of the purest diets, or you are living by mouthing slices of pizza and bowls of ice cream, these organs are always working.

    What is the role of the liver in detoxification?

    The liver detoxifies/ neutralizes the harmful substances in the body through a series of complex chemical reactions and the involvement of enzymes.

    The enzymatic reactions convert fat-soluble toxins into water-soluble compounds excreted in bile or urine, depending on the characteristics of the end product.

    In the first phase, the toxin enters the P-450 cytochrome system where it is reduced into smaller fragments.

    The fragments enter phase two where they bind to glycine, glutathione, and sulfate.
