    So I am excited to share with you my 3 day juice cleanse diyplan today! I did a combination of juices and smoothies. It seems quite a few of you wanted to know a bit more about it so here is my 3 day juice cleanse plan with the exact juices I did in my diy 3 day juice cleanse.

    So first of all: why am I doing this 3 day liquid cleanse?

    My husband and 3 kids all have their birthdays in September so we have been eating lots and eating lots of cake! We also have been eating more vegan takeaways and eating a bit more vegan junk food over winter. My goal is always to add more wholefoods and plant-based meals. I decided to do this little juice cleanse as a reset to start this. I didnt want to do it too strictly.

    During this 3 day juice cleanse, I actually kept the same juices and similar smoothies to make it easier for me. The hardest part of this juice reset was fitting all the produce in my fridge along with our normal weekly shop for the rest of the family!

    Each time I make a juice or smoothie I have about 2 glasses so about 600ml each time.

    Cleanse Detox 3 day in 2020

    First off lets be clear about what were calling a cleanse. This is not intended to be a lets starve ourselves and live on spicy lemonade for 3 days type of a deal. You are not to feel dizzy, lightheaded, and like you have the worst case of PMS to ever exist. You are not trying to lost 10 pounds in 3 days. Sorry, kids that one just doesnt happen.

    What this is about is making your body feel good. Its more of a reset, but we can call it a cleanse because trust me all of the fiber from the greens and fruits will make you feel cleansed.

    Each smoothie recipe makes about 6 cups, which provide 3 2-cup servings for each day. In addition to this, you should also snack on healthy foods if your body craves it. I did this exact cleanse for 3 days and felt amazing afterward though I did not stick to only smoothie.

    I ate some form of whole grain in the morning either a piece of fitness bread with raw almond butter or steel-cut oats. Likewise, you could have brown rice at some point in the day or another good, complex carb. For me, one healthy serving of this in addition to the smoothies and maybe a few nuts and additional raw fruits and veggies was perfect. These smoothies are super-filling, and energizing I happened to do this during a move into a new apartment.

    Day 1: Everything Green

    • 2 cups lacinto/tuscan/dinosaur kale leaves
    • 1 cup spinach leaves
    • 1 large handful parsley
    • 1 frozen banana
    • 1 to 2 cups coconut water or unsweetened almond milk
    • 4 or 5 ice cubes

    Ways To Follow The Smoothie Diet

    Just like most meal plans, there are different ways to follow the smoothie diet. Some people choose to take it for a few days, such as the 3-day smoothie diet, and others choose to follow it for a longer period, like 21 days. Apart from the duration of the two approaches, the two are also different in such a way that the short duration approach is more restricting compared to the long duration approach. The 3-day is more restricted because all the meals youll be taking will be in a form of smoothies and maybe adding healthy snacks like nuts along the way.

    For the long-duration approach, the smoothie diet is incorporated into a balanced diet, and you have one of two meals in smoothie form while the rest of the meals are in their solid form. The short-duration smoothie diet should not be followed for a period longer than the indicated time as it can cause a serious case of malnutrition. From the fact that most smoothies are made from vegetables and fruits, it means youll be missing out on some important macronutrients like proteins and fats.
