The yogurt and almonds have rich fats that incorporate into the mix. When dried oats get finely chopped, their fibers help with thickening. These ingredients suspend with the frozen fruit particles to creates the optimal texture.

How To Make A Banana Almond Milk Smoothie

  • When you intend to make an almond milk banana smoothie it helps to freeze your banana the night before. I tend to keep a few frozen bananas in the freezer specifically for smoothie recipes.
  • Gather your ingredients.
  • Cut up your banana into about 1 segments.
  • Combine all ingredients in a blender. I love to use Almond Breeze Unsweetened Almondmilk. You can get it at your local store here, or online here.

    This smoothie contains just four simple ingredients banana, almond butter, skimmed milk and oats, all good for you in their own way. Dont worry, Im not going to waffle on too much about the amazing health benefits of each of the ingredients .     Awhile back, my husband and I enjoyed a glorious vacation in Rincon, Puerto Rico.     I have been dragging all week. I was fighting a cold at the beginning of the week, didnt sleep well for a couple of days, and had more things on my to-do list than I typically like.

    When I have days like that, I totally rely on nutrient-rich afternoon snacks. When Im craving something a little dessert-like after lunch, but a better-for-me-choice than a cookie, I like to make this Chocolate Banana Almond Milk Smoothie.
