Welcome to My Kitchen, Diet Recipes by Natasha Mohan. So, to make this recipe, first we will take 20 grams of OATS in an empty bowl. Now why do we use Oats? As you know nowadays, how much people are worried about their health, and in Carbs, the Complex Carbs is been said to be very beneficial, so this is a very good mixture of complex carbs, which is balanced in Carbs, Protein and Fibre, so that it can give you maximum benefits, and moreover it is Gluten Free and is one of the Healthiest Grains which you can use. And then we will add four overnight soaked ALMONDS.

  • A pinch of black salt
How To Prepare
  • Wash the ginger root thoroughly and scrape the peel off using a knife.
  • Cut the ginger root and toss into the blender.
  • Peel the orange and kiwi and toss them into the blender.
  • Toss in the green grapes and a few mint leaves. Give it a spin.
  • Transfer the smoothie to a glass, add a pinch of black salt and stir well.

    How To Warm Up A Smoothie Without Killing The Antioxidants: 2 Ways

    What we dont want to do here is take our smoothie and pour it into a pan and boil it to death on the stove.

    That would completely kills off the antioxidants and other nutrients that are present in raw food.

    But what we can do is warm up the smoothie slightly so it feels warm, but its not warm enough to kill the nutrients.

    Food is considered still raw if has not been heated above 4049 °C .

    But dont worry, we dont even have to measure the temperature as there is a very easy way to tell if the smoothie is still raw very quickly.

    Like stated above, this Warm Banana Smoothie was created for cold winter mornings, so you can enjoy your smoothies all year long! However, winter isnt the only time you can enjoy this smoothie, and with a couple small modifications, you can turn this into a warm-weather smoothie as well!

    If you love iced coffees as much as we do, or its not quite cold outside, then you may prefer your banana smoothie cold. If so, just follow the instructions below for our warm banana smoothie, but instead of hot water, use cold. Then fill a glass with ice and pour the smoothie into the glass, filling it to the top.

    Substitutions For Hot Chocolate Smoothie

    Heres a few substitutions for this healthy hot chocolate smoothie. Keep in mind that substitutions do change the nutritional values of the recipe.

    • Banana You can omit the banana or substitute with unsweetened applesauce
    • Milk Any milk will work with this recipe.
    • Stevia Any sweetener can be added to the recipe. I do not recommend sugar free sweeteners, but choose what works best for you! Remember if you do add maple syrup or honey it will increase the calories of this recipe.
    • Protein Powder Any protein powder will work with this recipe , but please note that different brands may alter how your smoothie tastes. I do recommend a protein powder that has no added sugar or is only sweetened with stevia like Garden of Life.

    Warm Up Your Smoothie In A Blender

    All you need to do to warm up your smoothie in your blender is just blend for longer than you would normally. If you have a high powered blender, you might need to blend for about 3 minutes.

    For all other types of blender, you might need to blend for 5-10 minutes to warm your smoothie up.

    If you want to speed up the warming process, stay away from frozen ingredients, or let them thaw first before blending.
