For long-term success, my suggestion is always to focus on whole foods, learn to consume them in appropriate amounts for your personal goals and make choices that are sustainable. Yes, using smoothies as a meal replacement may help to reduce calorie intake, but if you dont learn to do this will real food meals, do you want to be stuck drinking smoothies for the rest of your life simply to maintain your weight?
