Be aware, that if you use darker fruits like blueberries, blackberries, cherries, etc. the color will change and you will likely make a brown smoothie that is delicious but not green in color!

    Truthfully, it depends. If your smoothie contains fruit, then generally, no, you cant usually taste it. Baby spinach is masked easily, but kale is a little but more bitter. This smoothie is essentially all greens, and I didnt attempt to mask any flavors.

    Dont let the ingredient list intimidate you though. It may sound a bit crazy, but Ive have multiple taste testers including one of my employees who says she hates healthy food and my husband who has a major sweet tooth. They both gave it a thumbs up.

    I love the kick of the cilantro, the avocado makes it super creamy and the pecans give it a warm nuttiness. And, Ive tried it without dandelion greens and actually prefer it WITH them.

    This Super Green Tropical Smoothie has been one of my go-to’s lately. It’s only a few ingredients and packed with nutrient dense kale and spinach. Try blending spinach + water and then pouring the mixture into ice cube trays and adding them to a freezer bag once frozen. You can also pre-portion your fruit to freeze.

    Then, all you have to do is blend the spinach with a bit of water and toss in the fruit. No measuring anything out!
