The 10 Days Of Recipes For The 10
Each of these recipes makes three servings which equal to a smoothie enough for your three meals.
So you can save time by preparing your entire days worth of smoothies in the morning.
Just make sure you store them in airtight containers.
But heres something worth mentioning you will need a full-sized blender for all the ingredients of a recipe to fill in the blenders pitcher.
Think Blendtec or Vitamix, these two brands of blenders hold 72 ounces of liquid easily.
But, if you have a smaller blender like a Nutribullet or any other, you will have to divide the ingredients into two or three parts to avoid spillovers.
The small blenders hold about 32ounces of liquid.

Green smoothies have been a creamy, delicious and nutritious part of my trying to get right objectives for awhile now. I love a good green smoothie ! A few months ago, I purchased J.J. Smiths book, 10-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse. This book has been creating quite a buzz over the past two-plus years because of its high success rate. There are numerous success stories about people losing weight, having more energy and improving their overall health.all in literally ten days!

Spicy Tuna Taco Cucumber Bites
TO MAKE: Peel 1 cucumber. Slice width-wise into about 1 1/2 inch slices. Carve out some of the center to create a bowl. Using a teaspoon helps with carving. Set aside. In a bowl stir together 1/2 cup tuna, 3 -4 Tablespoons cashew dip, 1 teaspoon chili powder, generous pinch of cayenne, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon cilantro, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Add sea salt and black pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking. Spoon filling into cucumber cups.

As I said, the smoothie cleanse detoxifies the body.
But, what is detoxification?
Detoxification is the bodily process that involves removal of toxins.
The body doesnt just flush out wastes and toxins, but, it breaks down the toxins, taking what it can use whole disposing of and eliminates what isnt necessary.
So, how does the natural detoxification process work?
Your liver, colon and the kidneys are the most critical detoxification organs.
They help get rid of all the bad in your system.
Even if you are on one of the purest diets, or you are living by mouthing slices of pizza and bowls of ice cream, these organs are always working.
What is the role of the liver in detoxification?

Woke up feeling: Excited
Bound into kitchen, lovingly open my newly purchased goods and pile in my greens, apples, mango, strawberries etc. Whiz it all up for longer than necessary. Pour my first glass and am pleasantly surprised by the taste. The health food shop guru assured me that this protein powder is the one with the least taste. Surprised by the texture, I almost want to chew my way through my mouthfuls and do so, as that is what JJ wants.
Have my first coffee-related outing post swimming and decide to forego it altogether. Come home, remember with glee that I am allowed to have cucumber and munch my way through two minis. This thing is a breeze!
2pm. I am so tired and I have a headache. Is it even possible to feel this awful so quickly? On the upside I am continuing to sip my smoothie and I am still enjoying it. On an even bigger up side, Sam is watching tele and Seb is still asleep so I can sit here and feel like rubbish in peace.

The recipes included with the book are really good terrific. I juice and make smoothies regularly. You can never have too many recipes. One of my favorite recipes was the Chocolate Cherry Smoothie with greens, almond milk, cherries, bananas, cinnamon, and cacao powder. The kid-friendly recipes were a hit with my children.
