How I Tested The Service

I tried out the Daily Harvest items over a two-week period, incorporating them into breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks. I usually prepared one or two items per day and had plenty of options to choose from since the large Daily Harvest box comes with your choice of 24 different offerings!

Between the harvest bowls, soups, smoothies, and more, the flavors were unique and varied. Full disclosure: I tend to gravitate toward more classic flavor combos in my day-to-day routine, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked some of the more diverse ingredients included in these snacks, like dragon fruit, miso, mango, and matcha.

Its also clear that there is a conscious effort by Daily Harvest to be sustainable in all of its practices, which I appreciated. Daily Harvest uses a regenerative approach to agriculture, meaning the company only works with farms that restore their land by growing organic produce, avoiding harmful practices like pesticide use, and planting trees.

Not only did I feel like I was worshipping my body by supplying it with high-quality and healthy ingredients, I also felt good about where the food came from and the low impact its production had on the planetplant eaters, rejoice!

When we were in Florida over the summer, we stopped at a McDonalds to grab breakfast one morning. Typically, I avoid fast food, especially something like this. But, their breakfast isnt too bad. I got a strawberry banana smoothie since I wasnt super hungry. Well, of course, they wanted to taste it and ended up drinking half of my smoothie!

Weve made smoothies before, but we just throw in a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I never really measured things out. Thats partly why the only other smoothie I have on here is the Pumpkin Pie Smoothie and Dreamsicle Protein Smoothie! But the boys enjoyed the strawberry banana smoothie so much they begged us to figure out how to make it at home.

I tried searching the ingredients for the smoothie online and didnt get a whole lot of results. The main things I found were strawberries, bananas, and yogurt. But nothing with any idea of the proportions it needs.

Justin set to work making a smoothie for the boys. Our first try was pretty close, but it still took some tweaking. The yogurt helps keep it very creamy. We use frozen strawberries to help thicken the smoothie without needing to use a lot of ice that waters down the flavor.

McDonald’s may be called plenty of things and praised for plenty of things, too, but if thereâs one thing that can be rightfully said of the chain is that it made American food a global favorite! Ask a typical man, woman and child in the United States and abroad about McDonald’s and they will most likely know the brand, if not enjoyed the pleasures of its food several times.

The Golden Arches is, of course, known most for its line of hamburgers that come in two patty types â beef and chicken. But thereâs also a fish-based burger in certain locations and on occasions, such as during the Lent season in the Philippines where people arenât supposed to eat meat products.

The beef patties are the standard size â comparatively thinner than the patties in better burger restaurants â but these are, nonetheless, still substantial for the burger as a whole.
