How To Make Cannabis

Follow these steps to make cannabis-infused smoothies at home.

  • Make Cannabis Infused Coconut Oil

Once your cannabis is decarbed, you need to infuse it with coconut oil. For this, you would need around 100 g of coconut oil for 7 to 10-gram cannabis . Follow these steps to make the extract:

  • Add coconut oil to a mason jar
  • Add decarbed cannabis to the same jar
  • Seal the jar and place it in a pot
  • Fill the pot with water the jar should be completely submerged in water
  • Heat the water to 185°F or 85°C
  • Cover the pot and let it heat for four hours
  • After four hours, remove the mason jar from the pot
  • Use a coffee filter or cheesecloth to strain the oil and discard the remaining plant matter
  • The filtered oil is your cannabis-infused coconut oil extract
  • You can skip this step if you already have any other kind of cannabis extract that can be easily mixed into the smoothie, like cannabis oil, cannabutter, or cannabis tincture.

    • Mix the Ingredients

Now, its time to mix all the ingredients. Follow these steps to bring your cannabis-infused oil together:

  • Add fruits of your choice to a blender
  • Add some milk or any other liquid base of your choice to the blender
  • TIP: Ensure the fruit to base liquid ratio is 3:2 for a thick yet drinkable consistency, but feel free to adjust it as per your liking.

  • Add a few ice cubes to the blender
  • Add 2 to 3 teaspoons of cannabis-infused coconut oil, as per your potency preferences
  • Add any garnish or add-ons to the blender
  • How To Make Shakes Thicker

No one likes a watered down smoothie. Or maybe they do? I’m not sure. But, if you’re team extra creamy, here’s how to make smoothies thick and creamy.

The trick is to add a thickening agent.

Some good options include: frozen vegetables , frozen fruit , nut butters, tahini, yogurt, pumpkin puree, oatmeal, coconut oil, butternut squash and sweet potatoes.

Freezing your liquid ahead of time is another way to thicken the consistency of your shake. Think about it this way… ice will thicken a smoothie more than water. So will frozen almond milk.

Add a little bit of your thickening agent of choice and blend for 30 seconds at the highest speed. Repeat this process until your desired consistency is reached.

After all, pretty as they look the whole point of a smoothie is to get those nutrients into ourselves that we might otherwise be missing out on. Not every smoothie needs to have veggies in them, but fruit is definitely at the heart of the majority.

Dont forget you can use fresh fruit but also frozen fruit and even vegetables in your smoothies. Sometimes frozen berries are a great solution to mixing up a recipe rather than having to buy separate containers of the different fruits to make mixed berries and they last longer!

What Are Some Insider Tips For Jump Starting A Smoothie Business

You may want to consider starting off at a smaller location to get a sense of who is interested in your product. A single kiosk at a mall, for example, may give you the exposure you need without the exorbitant bills of a larger space.

The best way to get started is to do as much research as possible about your competitors, and then use those insights to apply whats working to your business. You’ll also want to improve upon anything that your competitors could be doing better. This can be anything from marketing strategies to flavors to customer service. Look for local or time-specific trends that you might be able to capitalize on. For example, tempting the new year’s resolution crowd with a promise of trimming their waistlines.

    How To Make It

How to layer a great smoothie
  • Put the ingredients in a blender and whir it up!
  • This will make two large smoothies.
  • Unlike baking recipes, for instance, smoothie recipes do not have to use exact measurements. You can adjust according to taste. The only difference in choosing between fresh or frozen fruit is how thick you want it to be. Frozen will make for a more milkshake-thick smoothie, whereas fresh will get thickened up slightly by the ice, but have a more liquidy texture. Or you can combine frozen and fresh fruit.

You can use any kind of soft fruit you want, such as berries, bananas, peeled peaches or nectarines, melons, even grapes, and puree, and know you can always add a bit more fruit or ice to thicken it or a bit more milk to thin it out.
