A high-speed blender this one is the one that I use

  • Coconut milk This can be typically found in the Asian foods aisle in most supermarkets. The canned coconut milk is a much better option than carton coconut milk since the latter is heavily diluted and not as high in healthy fats. This brand of coconut milk contains just 3 g of net carbs per 1 cup. Coconut milk also gives this smoothie the nice creamy texture.
  • Frozen mixed berries These are typically made out of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries and contain around 5 g of net carbs in a 1/2 cup serving. If you rather use individually frozen berries, your best bet is raspberries which come in at just 3 g of net carbs per 1/2 cup.   • Simple Syrup This is optional but the smoothie just tastes so much better with some extra sweetness! My favorite keto sweetener that I use in all of my smoothie recipes is Sugar-free Simple Syrup that contains 0 calories and 0 net carbs and doesnt have that nasty aftertaste that some other sweeteners do.
  • MCT Oil I used to never add MCT oil to my keto smoothies and would feel hungry shortly after finishing my smoothie. Since I started to add it into the low carb smoothies it has honestly made the biggest difference in how I feel.

How To Make A Mixed Berry Smoothie:

Add the fresh berries, oatmeal, yogurt, honey and milk to a high speed blender. Blend until smooth.

This mixed berry smoothie is simply frozen berries, banana, vanilla Greek yogurt, liquid of your choice, and sweetener if you desire. I buy bags of mixed frozen berries and always have a few in the freezer for when a smoothie craving strikes. I typically make these smoothies with apple juice as it eliminates the need to add any sweetener later on. Other liquid choices are skim milk, almond milk, coconut milk or even a cranberry juice would be nice. When I do sweeten smoothies, I typically reach for a little honey. Like I said, its really not needed here if youre using juice, but you may want to add some if you go with a less sweet liquid like skim milk.

I have an insanely picky 3 year old, and on days when I cant get her to eat more than 2 bites of anything, these mixed berry smoothies are a lifesaver. Nutrients, protein, fiber and they happen to be her favorite color, bright pink! How To Make This Mixed Berry Smoothie

Step One: Start by adding the pineapple juice and orange juice to the bottom of a high-powered blender.
