Which Blender Is Right For You My Recommendations

In the end, each of the two blenders featured here is right for a different sort of person.

If youre looking for an affordable and convenient way to blend smoothies, the Nutribullet is likely the right answer. Its not quite powerful enough to make smooth purees of rough ingredients, though, so it wont replace a full-sized blender.

If you want the power of a full-sized blender while saving countertop space, the Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro is the way to go. Its significantly more expensive than the Nutribullet, but youre paying for almost double the blending power. In small kitchens, its a fantastic alternative to a larger blender that can handle any blending job.

Personally, I would go for the Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro. Its pricey, sure, but the increased performance will let you handle a wider range of blended recipes. If you do have the counter space for a full-sized blender though, may I recommend that you check out our guide to the best blenders under $100? It has a full rundown of how to find an affordable full-sized blender for your home, as well as an alternative to the Ninja blender featured here.

Magic Bullet Vs Nutribullet : Comparison

Pin by Jasper Penny

When trying to compare the Magic Bullet Blender to the NutriBullet 600 Blender, its not much of a contest. The NutriBullet is stronger, faster, and it blends better. For anyone who wants to make serious smoothies without any difficulties, I would always recommend the NutriBullet over the Magic Bullet.

That said, there is a lot going for the Magic Bullet. Its smaller, its more portable, and it can still make a great smoothie. However, it lacks the power needed to do other types of tasks, such as grinding grains, breaking down coffee beans, and making larger servings.

When it comes to price, the Magic Bullet is way cheaper. When it comes to serving sizes, the NutriBullet has the edge. However, each one offers a quick blend that will save you time and make your life more convenient when trying to practice a healthy lifestyle.

Power & Ability

Like I already said, the NutriBullet definitely wins in terms of power. The NutriBullet works using 600 watts, while the Magic Bullet only offers 250. As you can imagine, this gives the NutriBullet a significant edge in what it can blend. If you want to add lots of ice to your recipe, lots of frozen vegetables, and even things like pumpkin seeds or almonds, its easier in the NutriBullet.

NutriBullet vs Nutri Ninja Pro Review Green Smoothie Test

As a personal trainer for over 10 years, Ive made my fair share of protein shakes. In fact, theyre been my breakfast everyday for years, whether Im at my apartment in Chicago or visiting my parents in Florida. While Im particular about many things, it doesnt really matter to me what I use to blend my protein shakes since Im on the go so much. I really just need a blender that works. Otherwise, I keep my smoothie recipe basic:

  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 1 serving of protein powder
  • 1 handful of frozen berries
  • 1 handful of spinach

Directions: Blend. While Im easy going with my smoothies, some personal trainers can get pretty specific about what blenders they use in fact, I surveyed almost 20 trainers and many of them were enthusiastically quick to recommend one standout: Vitamix.

How To Clean A Nutribullet

Cleaning a Nutribullet blender is simple. The blending cup can be completely removed from the base to be cleaned. You can either wash it up yourself, or put it in the dishwasher .You’ll need to wash the lid, which houses the blades, by hand.

You can’t put the blender base, where the motor is, into the dishwasher. If this gets dirty, use a cloth and warm water to wipe it clean.

Magic Bullet Vs Ninja Bl456 Personal Blender: Comparison

The first thing you might notice when comparing the Magic Bullet Blender and the Ninja BL456 Nutri Pro Blender is the price. The Magic Bullet is significantly cheaper, about half the price of the Ninja. But the differences dont end there. Theres a huge discrepancy in power, the size is different, and the settings are different.

While these machines may look relatively similar, and Ill admit they are very close in what they can accomplish, there is a pretty vast space between them. I love the Magic Bullet as a product, it works amazingly to blend smoothies. But the Ninja BL456 is simply more advanced. In fact, I would say the Ninja BL456 is closer to the upgraded NutriBullet Pro.

Huge Discrepancies

There are some huge discrepancies between these two items. Lets start with the power. The Magic Bullet uses a motor that can only offer 250 watts. In comparison, the Ninja BL456 is almost 4x as strong. It uses 900 watts of power to professionally break down your fruits and vegetables to create nutritious and delicious smoothies and juices.

The Ninja blender can simply do more than the Magic Bullet can. Yes, both blenders advertise nutrient extraction technology, and so its a little difficult to say which really does extract nutrients better. I dont have the kind of scientific equipment to figure that out. However, I can say that the Ninja breaks apart ice and frozen ingredients quicker and more efficiently.

Which Nutribullet Is Best

Which Nutribullet is right for you depends on how much you want to spend, and whether you just want to make speedy single-portion smoothies or a wider range of drinks, snacks and soups. Nutribullet blenders are pricier than a lot of rivals, so you’ll want to be sure your money is well spent, too.

We’ve put all six Nutribullet blenders through our independent lab tests, so you can easily compare them using our Nutribullet blender reviews.

Final Thoughts On Nutribullet Vs Ninja

Nutribullet vs Ninja: Which Blender is Better?

In conclusion, both the Nutribullet and Ninja can be used for a variety of things and are both perfect if you want to make delicious drinks with them. The main difference between these kitchenware appliances is that the Nutribullet works by pulverizing while the Ninja doesn’t.

However, if you have a small stomach capacity then I would recommend going for your Nutribullet because it will help you digest all the nutrients inside your juice or smoothie better.

The Nutribullet is also easier to clean and weighs less than the Ninja so it might be a better option for you if you are planning on taking your blender with you when traveling. Otherwise, I would choose either device depending on my needs at the moment they can both usually handle any other type of food that you throw at them.

Where Can I Buy A Nutribullet

Whether you’re shopping from the comfort of your own home on Amazon, or in Tesco getting your weekly groceries, you’ll be able to buy a Nutribullet in most high street shops, online stores or supermarkets.

You can also buy them directly from Nutribullet and via TV shopping channels. Keep in mind that there are different package options, depending on how many cups you want or whether you want to also buy a milling blade, so it’s worth shopping around for the best deal. Black Friday and the January sales are both good times to scout for a Nutribullet, as these are popular times of year to buy.

You shouldn’t need to pay more than £60 for the original Nutribullet 600. Anything less than this is a relatively good price. The cheapest we’ve seen it on sale for is £40, for a very short time in January 2017.

Which Is Better: Nutribullet Or Ninja

Nutribullet vs. Nutri Ninja (THICK Frozen Fruit Smoothie Test)

When compared head to head, both the brands are quite similar in terms of price and dont vary much for that to be the deciding factor.

As for the accessories, both the machines come with an extensive list. Both have multiple jars and to go accessories for easy carrying. However, it is a bit unnecessary to have two large jars for the Nutribullet even though you can blend small servings in them quite well. The Ninjas jars are more versatile to blend everything from small sauce emulsifications to large smoothies, however, it becomes a tight fit with little room to loosen and mix up a large bunch of leafy greens. This might mean that you have to stop blending in between to coax the ingredients down towards the blades.

The mechanism for each machine is slightly different. The Nutri Ninja follows a systematic cutting of the food with sharp fin blades. The upward and downward pointing blades provide cutting off all foods uniformly. If you like adding ice to your smoothies, then the Ninja does a better job of crushing the cubes. The NutriBullet, on the other hand, is slightly better at making velvety smooth shakes and smoothies with no bits floating around. It can also powder your spices in a jiffy.

The Nutribullet is perfect for those who want to make regular smoothies without large ice cubes. Frozen fruit and fibrous veggies are crushed easily and made into a velvety smooth concoction. However, the Nutribullet should not be run continuously for more than 60 seconds.

Ninja Mega Kitchen System

The Ninja Kitchen System is one of the more advanced models on offer with its range of features. The 5-cup bowl is BPA-free and dishwasher safe while there are also two 16 oz cups included.

It is great for dealing with the ingredients you give it quickly and smoothly, producing a high-end result in a short amount of time.

Notes: Blending Container Safety Instructions

While using either Nutri Ninja or Nutribullet Pro, neither machine has a channel for the blending cups to breathe. For this, you should never process hot liquids as it could cause pressure build-up, which could result in a fatal incident. The two providers have even explained in the user manual that the maximum extraction time is one minute. Should your mixture need further pummeling, you should stop the motor, wait for one minute, then repeat the extraction process.

Sad to say, though, many of us never bother to read the whole pamphlet once we know how to start and stop the machine. Hence, the reason some have experienced issues like the motor burning out and the container bursting.

As for the issue of leaking, the rubber seals are usually not the issue as many of the affected owners express. The blending cups have a MAXIMUM fill line your ingredients should never exceed. Once exceeded, the pressure from the excess ingredients forces the container to look for spaces to relieve itself.

If the seals are the weak link, the liquid will leak from there. In many cases, however, the little drips you see after surpassing the maximum line often pass through the part connecting the blade to the lid.

But again, this is hardly the manufacturers fault, rather the users for ignoring the demanded safety instructions.
