How Many Calories In Smoothie
Although these drinks are quite healthy, its important to consider how many calories in smoothie? Of course, this varies greatly depending on what ingredients you use, but you might be surprised by how many there are.
On average, if you order a smoothie from a restaurant, a small one will be around three hundred calories. A medium or large could be over a thousand. Homemade smoothies are not necessarily better, but you can at least cut back on the sugars.
Be careful about drinking calories and bear in mind that smoothies may be healthy, but they should be drunk in moderation.

Are Fruit And Yogurt Smoothies Healthy
Yes. However, that said, moderation is the key to so many diet related issues, and kids smoothies are no different. Fruit is full of sugar, and so natural sugar or not, its something I keep an eye on to make sure we dont have too much.
Sometimes I try and add a few extra veggies to smoothies if I think the kids wont notice them, and this way Ive been able to get spinach and beetroot, amongst others, into the kids diets. For this recipe though, Ive left the spinach out
